Located on the riverside of the city, the Olhão Markets, with their original architecture, are one of the city’s landmarks!
Two buildings topped with towers and the freshness of the products sold there make this place one of the main tourist attractions in the cubist city.
The fish market, situated in the western area of the building, is one of the most well-known and visited in the Algarve, offering a wide variety of high-quality fish, seafood, and shellfish.
On the eastern side, we can visit the fruit and vegetable market, where freshness is always guaranteed. On Saturday mornings, there is an additional attraction: the open-air market, where small producers sell the surplus from their gardens.
Located between the historic area and the Ria Formosa, the Olhão Markets are a must-visit destination!
